Today is ORRC's 1st birthdays!! It was a year ago today that we flipped the switch and brought the web site online. I remember talking on the phone with Jak Frost about registering the name for the site and now one short year later we are one of the largest RC dedicated sites in Canada. Quite an accomplishment for one year!!
With the 2005 RC summer season about to begin we have a ton of things we hope to accomplish before our next birthday. We would like to thank all of you for taking the time sign up on the site and taking time to participate. We have enjoyed meeting many of you at the tracks and parking lots and we look forward to meeting more of you. We would also like to thank all of the moderators who have invested their own time to help us guide the content of the site to where it is now.
Today was also supposed to be the release of the next edition of the Drivers Stand. We had several interesting articles including part one of a two part article on temp gauges. We would, in advance, like to thank those companies who were kind enough to donate their products for us to use in the article. As I said today was "supposed" to be its release date. However we have decided to delay its release in favour of a special edition that will be a retrospective on the last year here at ORRC. This will be available for download in the next day or two and you will recieve an email when it is released.
Again the Admins at ORRC would like to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at upcoming events!!
